While the story is well-written and suspenseful throughout, its conclusion is something I�ve seen and heard in TV shows on The History Channel and National Geographic Channel, and I was a little disappointed. Rockwell worked with artists such as Howard Pyle and N. Dennis Moore�s "The Caterpillar", in which a distant, out-of-work cousin finds himself living with a young gir deformed by thalidomide. She isn�t aware at first of what all goes on after she injects herself, but soon learns. �Dracula� � Dracula is an actor in this story and doesn�t get along so well with his co-star, Eddie, which leads to some major tension.

We as writers are taught to create characters that the reader will care about or relate to. However the bulk of the book is taken up by proper short stories which are mainly of good quality. Most were published in her lifetime in national and regional magazines and newspapers, including Vogue, the Youth’s Companion, the Century, and the Atlantic Monthly. Swann advises authors to read through the current issue of the magazine in order to get a feel for what ASF publishes. “We pass on a lot of well-written work because it doesn’t fall under our aesthetic."
